Every two years, a group of trans and queer teens are selected to experience a rare and life-changing performance development to tell their story during Sydney Mardi Gras.

Stories from the Heart is a queer storytelling development program for LGBTQIA+SB folk between the ages of 15 to 19. Eight emerging artists are selected to develop a performance piece with the mentorship of established queer writers, directors, artists and performers over the course of four workshops, culminating in a live performance to an audience of queer community and industry set during Sydney Mardi Gras.
